The Association of Fundraising Professionals Greater Atlanta Chapter offers professional development, networking, and volunteer opportunities for individuals working in the field of fundraising. With hundreds of members, the organization reflects a diverse cross-section of Atlanta's growing nonprofit community.
AFP helps members raise funds so that their organizations can make a difference. Fundraising is not an end in itself; it’s a means for promoting opportunity, equality, and stewardship. It’s a way of pooling our resources and working together to make the world a better place.
We’re pleased to announce that Green Gate’s founder and CEO, Katherine Branch, recently accepted a position on the Greater Atlanta Chapter’s board as VP of Communications.
“Fundraising is such a critical part of nonprofits’ success,” Katherine says. “In our own work, we’ve witnessed the impact that effective communications have on fundraising, donor engagement, and brand awareness. It’s an honor to be able to help support the individuals who are supporting these organizations.”
